Invaders in Vikings: War of Clans

A Viking’s life is a never-ending series of battles. The northern lands are full of treasures and attract many different enemies. In this article, we will tell you the best ways to fight the Invaders, Uber Invaders, and Uber Invader Chiefs.

Who are Invaders

In Vikings: War of Clans, Invaders are unique opponents, which appear on the Global Map from time to time. Only the Hero can attack them. You will get a vast reward if you gather up your courage and destroy the enemy. In general, there are 16 Invaders and 4 Uber Invaders in the game.

To find Invaders, Uber Invaders, and Uber Invader Chiefs open the Global Map. The weakest Invaders – level 1 – are along the edges of the Map, the strongest ones – level 6 – are closer to the center. Around the Place of Power, in the Millennial Forest, is where the Uber Invaders and their Chiefs live. They have no levels, but a special marker is displayed above them. In Vikings: War of Clans, the Invaders schedule is displayed in the Events section, in the “Invaders, Ghosts, and bonuses” tab.

Which Invaders to attack

As a reward for attacking and killing these bloodthirsty opponents, you get Invaders’ materials, which are necessary for crafting the Hero’s equipment. You can also receive gems, resources, items, Gold, and other rewards. Remember: the stronger you hit, the more valuable the trophies you get. In Vikings: War of Clans, Invaders’ equipment inlaid with gems considerably increase your Town’s economic stats and your troops’ military characteristics.

Each Invader has their own set of five materials. To find out which rewards you’ll get, open the Invader information window or see the special table below. You can read more about Invaders’ materials and gems in the “How to play” section of the game’s Menu.

In Vikings: War of Clans, Invader’s Lairs are special locations that appear after Invaders have been destroyed. After an Uber Invader or Uber Invader Chief has been destroyed, an Uber Invader’s Lair appears. When yielding resources in these locations, you have a chance to get one of the Invader’s materials.

How to attack Invaders

For a successful attack, you need to study the “Unlock Invaders” Knowledge from the Invaders branch; the Knowledge should correspond to the Invader’s level. To attack Uber Invaders, learning the “Unlock Invaders I” Knowledge is enough.

A health bar is displayed above Invaders. The higher the Invader’s level, the more difficult it is to destroy them.

To attack the Invaders, a certain amount of Hero’s energy is needed. The stronger the enemy, the more energy is required. Every time you hit the Invader, your energy level decreases, but after the battle it is restored.

Attacks can be normal and enhanced. During a normal attack, the Hero inflicts only one hit to an Invader, using a fixed amount of energy. During an enhanced attack, the Hero inflicts several hits depending on the amount of energy available.

Sustained Attacks and the critical hits help you defeat the enemy faster. A critical hit is activated randomly, doubling Hero’s offense. A Sustained Attack increases the offense with every new attack landed on the same Invader, Uber Invader, or Uber Invader Chief within an hour. You can also increase the power of your hits with the help of Knowledge, boosts, and the Hero’s Skills.

Festive Uber Invaders

The Kingdoms sometimes find themselves overrun with exotic creatures, such as the Feathered Skeggi, Snowiking, Leprechaun, Bruiser Bjära, and other festive Uber Invaders. They appear on the Global Map on certain days and only for 3 hours.

You can destroy an Uber Invader in one hit: the more powerful the hit, the bigger the reward. To attack, you need 100 units of Hero’s energy and you must have learned the “Unlock Invaders I” Knowledge.

Jarls, fight honorably and defend your lands from dangerous enemies. The harsh world of the Vikings awaits you!
